Press the Learn button on the control board for 1 second until the RF blue LED lights up. Then, press Button A on your remote for 2 seconds until the LED starts to flash and the board beeps once. The remote is now paired.
Ensure the gate is in the open position. Press and hold your remote button until the display shows 'OP'. Then, press and hold both the 'DEC' and 'INC' buttons on the board simultaneously for 5 seconds until the gate begins to close. The system will cycle through close and open positions to learn the limits.
Connect the solar panel cables to the solar regulator terminals (Positive to + and Negative to -). Do NOT wire solar cables directly into the AC terminal on the control board, as this will damage the board and void the warranty.
Check if the 'Auto Close' feature is enabled in the menu settings. If using a remote with a 'Party Mode' (usually Button C), ensure it hasn't been activated to override the auto-close function.
For backup power, a 12V 7Ah battery is typically recommended. BMGi advises charging the battery externally every 6-12 months to prolong its life, especially in solar setups.
