This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Waterdrop WD-CTF-06 Countertop Faucet Water Filter System. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper function and longevity of your filter system.
The Waterdrop WD-CTF-06 system is designed to provide clean, filtered water directly from your faucet, reducing contaminants such as chlorine, taste and odor, colloids, rust, sediment, and heavy metals. It features a 4,000-gallon or 6-month filter lifespan and is NSF/ANSI 372 certified for lead-free materials.

Before installation, ensure your faucet is compatible with the Waterdrop WD-CTF-06 system. This system is designed for standard water faucets only and will not fit pull-out, hand-held, spray-style faucets, or faucets with sensors. Please refer to the compatibility guidelines below.
Faucet Compatibility Check
Verify your faucet type and dimensions to ensure proper fit. The system includes various adapters for common faucet types.

Installatiestappen
- Step 1: Unpack Components. Take out the filter system and all accessories from the packaging.
- Step 2: Remove Faucet Aerator. Draai de bestaande perlator van uw kraan los en verwijder deze.
- Step 3: Select and Install Adapter. Choose the appropriate adapter (A3, A4, A5 for female threads; B3, B4 for male threads) that matches your faucet's threading. Connect the adapter to the faucet. Ensure the washer is properly seated and the adapter is firmly installed. If unsure about adapter size, use the coin comparison guide (Figure 2).
- Step 4: Connect Outlet Valve. Attach the outlet valve to the installed adapter.
- Step 5: Connect Filter System. Connect the hoses from the filter system to the outlet valve.
- Step 6: Tighten Filter Housing. Place the filter housing onto the base and tighten it securely by hand.
- Step 7: Position System. Place the water filter system in its proper position on your countertop.
- Step 8: Flush the Filter. Before first use, run water through the system for 3-5 minutes. There may be a small amount of black water initially due to activated carbon; this is normal and will clear.

The Waterdrop WD-CTF-06 system allows you to easily switch between unfiltered tap water and filtered pure water.
Switching Between Water Modes
- For Tap Water: To get unfiltered tap water, switch the lever on the outlet valve to the downward direction.
- For Pure Water: To get filtered pure water, switch the lever on the outlet valve to the level (horizontal) direction.
Opmerking: The system does not reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Do not run water at a temperature higher than 100°F/38°C through the filter.

Regular maintenance, especially filter replacement, is crucial for optimal performance and water quality.
Filter Lifespan and Reminder
The WD-CTF-06 filter has a lifespan of up to 4,000 gallons or 6 months, whichever comes first. The system includes a mechanical life recorder to help you track filter usage. When installing a new filter, manually align the start month on the reminder dial. This will help you remember when to replace the filter.
Important Note: The mechanical reminder does not rotate automatically. You need to manually use the markings to track the filter's lifespan.

Stappen voor filtervervanging
Only the WD-CFF-03 filter can be used with this system. Search "WD-CFF-03" for replacement filters.
- Step 1: Disassemble Filter Housing. Place the system in the water sink. Use hands to unscrew the filter housing (top part) from the base (bottom part). Be aware that there may be residual water between the filter housing and the base.
- Stap 2: Verwijder het oude filter. Carefully remove the expired filter from the system.
- Stap 3: Nieuw filter invoegen. Insert the new WD-CFF-03 filter into the base. Ensure the sealing ring is installed firmly.
- Step 4: Reassemble Housing. Screw the filter housing back onto the base by hand and tighten it securely.
- Step 5: Flush New Filter. Turn on the faucet and flush the new filter for 3-5 minutes to remove any carbon fines.
Probleemoplossing
- Probleem: Waterlekkage.
- Oplossing: Ensure all connections are tightened firmly. Check that the correct adapter is used for your faucet type and that all washers and O-rings are properly seated and not damaged.
- Issue: Low Water Flow.
- Oplossing: This may indicate a clogged filter. Replace the filter if it has reached its lifespan (4,000 gallons or 6 months) or if water flow significantly decreases.
- Issue: Unfiltered Water Taste/Odor.
- Oplossing: Ensure the system is correctly switched to "Pure Water" mode. If the issue persists, the filter may be exhausted and require replacement.
- Issue: Mechanical Reminder Not Working.
- Oplossing: The mechanical reminder is manual. It does not rotate automatically. You need to manually adjust the dial to track the filter's lifespan.
- Issue: Faucet Incompatibility.
- Oplossing: If your faucet does not fit the provided adapters or is a pull-out/spray-style faucet, the system is not compatible. Please refer to the faucet compatibility section or contact customer service for assistance.
