De lens bevestigen

1. Verwijder de achterste lensdop en de dop van de camerabehuizing.

3. Mount the lens by rotating it clockwise until it clicks into place. Do not press the lens release button on the camera while attaching.

De lens losmaken

1. While holding down the lens release button on the camera body, rotate the lens counter-clockwise until it stops.
2. Remove the lens and attach the front and rear caps to protect the lens elements.

De lenskap bevestigen/verwijderen

• Vastmaken: Align the red dot on the lens hood with the red dot on the lens. Insert the hood onto the lens and rotate it clockwise until it clicks.
• Losmaken: Press the lens hood release button and rotate the hood counter-clockwise.
• The lens hood can be reversed and attached to the lens for storage.

Schakelaar voor scherpstelmodus (AF/MF)

The AF/MF switch on the side of the lens allows you to toggle between autofocus (AF) and manual focus (MF) modes. Select AF for automatic focusing by the camera, or MF for manual adjustment of focus using the focus ring.

Aperture Ring and Iris Lock

• Diafragmaring: Rotate the aperture ring to adjust the aperture value. The lens features a constant F2 maximum aperture.
• IRIS LOCK Switch: Use the IRIS LOCK switch to prevent accidental changes to the aperture setting. Set to 'A' for automatic aperture control via the camera, or lock it to a specific F-stop.
• CLICK ON/OFF Switch: This switch allows you to enable or disable the click stops on the aperture ring. 'ON' provides tactile feedback for precise F-stop adjustments, while 'OFF' allows for smooth, silent aperture changes, ideal for video recording.

Zoomring

Rotate the zoom ring to change the focal length between 28mm and 70mm. The lens also features a SMOOTH/TIGHT switch to adjust the torque of the zoom ring according to your preference.

Focus Hold-knop

Press the focus hold button to lock the focus at the current distance. This is useful for recomposing shots without losing focus on your subject.

De lens schoonmaken

• Use a blower brush to remove dust and small particles from the lens surface.
• For smudges or fingerprints, use a soft, clean microfiber cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Apply a small amount of lens cleaning solution to the cloth, not directly to the lens, and gently wipe in a circular motion.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the lens coatings.

Probleemoplossing

• De lens zit niet goed vast: Ensure the white index marks on the lens and camera body are aligned, and rotate clockwise until a click is heard. Do not force the lens.
• Autofocus werkt niet: Check if the AF/MF switch on the lens is set to AF. Ensure the camera's focus mode is also set to autofocus. Clean the lens contacts on both the lens and camera body.
• Afbeelding is wazig: Verify that the lens is properly focused. Check the camera's shutter speed and ISO settings, especially in low light. Ensure the lens elements are clean.
• Aperture ring not clicking: If you prefer tactile feedback, ensure the CLICK ON/OFF switch is set to 'ON'.
• Lens hood loose: Ensure the lens hood is rotated clockwise until it clicks into its locked position.
