3. Installatie-instructies

1. Pak de doos uit: Haal alle onderdelen voorzichtig uit de verpakking.
2. Batterijen installeren:
   • Locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside of the lid or at the back of the unit.
   • Open het batterijklepje.
   • Plaats vier (4) AA-batterijen en let daarbij op de juiste polariteit (+/-).
   • Sluit het batterijklepje goed.

3. Insert Inner Bin and Liner:
   • Place the inner bin into the main unit.
   • Fit a suitable trash bag (liner) into the inner bin, ensuring the edges are neatly tucked.

4. Gebruiksaanwijzing

4.1 Automatische sensorwerking

1. Sensor activeren: Ensure batteries are installed and the bin is powered on (if there's a power switch, typically located near the battery compartment).
2. Open deksel: Wave your hand or an object approximately 10-15 cm above the sensor located on the lid. The lid will open automatically.
3. Deksel sluiten: Het deksel sluit automatisch na enkele seconden inactiviteit.

4.2 Manual Lid Operation

For situations requiring the lid to remain open for an extended period, or if batteries are depleted, you can operate the lid manually.

• Gently lift the lid by hand to open it.
• To close, gently push the lid down until it is fully shut.

The EKO Sensor Bin features a unique spring and hinge system designed for quiet operation, minimizing noise during opening and closing cycles.

5. Onderhoud en verzorging

Regular cleaning and proper care will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your EKO Sensor Bin.

• Buitenreiniging: Veeg de roestvrijstalen buitenkant af met een zachte, droge doek.amp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a stainless steel cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scourers that may damage the finish. The special coating helps prevent greasy fingerprints.
• Interieurreiniging: Remove the inner bin and wash it with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before placing it back into the main unit. The inner bin is made of stain-resistant plastic for easy cleaning.
• Dekselreiniging: Veeg het deksel af met advertentieamp Doekje. Zorg ervoor dat er geen water in het batterijcompartiment of het sensorgebied komt.
• Deodorizer Pocket: The lid features a deodorizer pocket. Replace the deodorizer filter periodically as needed (deodorizer sold separately).
• Batterij vervangen: Replace all four AA batteries when the sensor operation becomes sluggish or stops working. Always use new batteries of the same type.
