2. Belangrijke veiligheidsinstructies

4. Instellen en eerste gebruik
- Uitpakken: Carefully remove all packaging materials and labels from the kettle and its components.
- Eerste reiniging: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX fill line. Bring the water to a boil, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Plaatsing: Place the power base on a dry, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.
- Stroomaansluiting: Plug the power base into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
5. Gebruiksaanwijzing
5.1 Kokend water
- Vul de waterkoker: Remove the lid and fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN line (0.5L) or above the MAX line (1.2L). The removable lid allows for easy filling.

5.2 Using the Tea Infuser
The removable tea infuser allows you to steep loose-leaf tea directly in the kettle.
- Insert Infuser: Remove the lid and attach the tea infuser to the underside of the lid.
- Thee toevoegen: Place your desired amount of loose-leaf tea into the infuser basket.
- Fill and Boil: Fill the kettle with water to the appropriate level, ensuring the infuser is submerged. Secure the lid with the infuser attached. Follow the boiling instructions in Section 5.1.
- Steeping: Once the water boils and the kettle shuts off, allow the tea to steep for your preferred duration.

6. Onderhoud en reiniging
Regelmatig schoonmaken zorgt voor een langere levensduur en optimale prestaties van uw waterkoker.
- Uitschakelen en afkoelen: Haal altijd de stekker van de waterkoker uit het stopcontact en laat hem volledig afkoelen voordat u hem schoonmaakt.
- Buitenreiniging: Veeg de buitenkant van de waterkoker en het basisstation af met een zachte, droge doek.amp lap. Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen of schuursponsjes.
- Interior Cleaning (Kettle): The removable lid makes it easy to access the interior. Hand wash the glass carafe with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly.
- Reiniging van het thee-infuser: Remove the tea infuser from the lid and rinse it under running water. Use a small brush if necessary to remove tea leaves.
- Ontkalken: Na verloop van tijd kunnen zich minerale afzettingen (kalkaanslag) in de waterkoker ophopen, vooral in gebieden met hard water. Om te ontkalken:

- Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for 20-30 minutes.

- For stubborn deposits, repeat the process or use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
- Opslag: Ensure the kettle is clean and dry before storing. Wrap the cord around the base for tidy storage.
