This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient use of your Rowenta Aqua Boost HU4020 Humidifier. Please read all instructions carefully before operating the appliance and retain this manual for future reference.
The Rowenta Aqua Boost HU4020 is designed to maintain a balanced humidity level in your home. It features a 2.5-liter water tank, three operating programs, and a warm mist function. The unit is compact and operates quietly.
2. Veiligheidsinstructies
Belangrijke veiligheidsmaatregelen:
- Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

4. Instellen
- Uitpakken: Haal de luchtbevochtiger voorzichtig uit de verpakking. Bewaar de verpakking voor opslag of transport.
- Plaatsing: Plaats de luchtbevochtiger op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond op minimaal 15 cm afstand van muren en meubels. Zorg ervoor dat hij niet op tapijt of in de buurt van warmtebronnen staat.
- Watertank vullen:

- Verwijder de bovenklep.
- Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water inlet until it reaches the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
- Plaats de bovenklep stevig terug.
- Sluit stroom aan: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The unit will beep, and the display will illuminate.
5. Gebruiksaanwijzing
The Rowenta Aqua Boost HU4020 offers various modes for optimal humidification.

5.1 In-/uitschakelen
- Druk op de AAN/UIT knop om de luchtbevochtiger aan of uit te zetten.
5.2-bedrijfsmodi
- Automatic Comfort Mode: Druk op de AUTO button. The humidifier will automatically adjust mist output to maintain an optimal humidity level.
- Nachtmodus: Druk op de NACHT button. The display light intensity will dim, and the humidifier will operate quietly to maintain a comfortable humidity level for sleep.

- Handmatige modus: Druk op de VOCHTIGHEID button to select your desired humidity level (from 30% to 70%). The humidifier will work to reach and maintain this level.
5.3 Mistuitvoeraanpassing
- Druk op de MIN / MAX button to cycle through different mist output levels.
- The mist outlet can be rotated 360° to direct the mist as desired.

5.4 Warm Mist Function
- The warm mist function helps eliminate up to 99.9% of certain bacteria in the water droplets. This function activates automatically in some modes or can be selected manually if available on the control panel. Refer to the display for warm mist indicator.
5.5 Timerfunctie
- Druk op de TIJDKLOK button to set the operating time (up to 12 hours). The humidifier will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.
6. Onderhoud en reiniging
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your humidifier.
- Dagelijks onderhoud:
- Haal de stekker van de luchtbevochtiger uit het stopcontact.
- Leeg het resterende water uit de tank en de basis.
- Spoel de watertank en de basis om met vers water.
- Veeg alle oppervlakken droog met een schone doek.
- Weekly Cleaning (or more often depending on water hardness):
- Haal de stekker van de luchtbevochtiger uit het stopcontact.
- Verwijder de watertank.
- Descaling the Water Tank and Base:
- Pour 2-3 cups of undiluted white vinegar into the water tank and base.
- Laat het 20-30 minuten weken.
- Use a soft brush or cloth to clean any mineral buildup.
- Spoel grondig na met schoon water tot de azijngeur verdwenen is.
- Desinfecteren:
- Mix 1 teaspoon of bleach with 1 gallon of water.
- Pour a small amount of this solution into the water tank and base.
- Swish the solution around to wet all surfaces. Let it stand for 20 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the bleach smell is gone.
- Veeg alle oppervlakken droog voordat u alles weer in elkaar zet.
- Opslag: Reinig de luchtbevochtiger grondig wanneer deze gedurende langere tijd niet in gebruik is, zorg ervoor dat alle onderdelen droog zijn en bewaar hem op een koele, droge plaats.
