1. Inleiding
This manual provides detailed instructions for the Eujgoov XH-M131 5V DC Photosensitive Resistance Relay Module. This module is designed for light detection and brightness sensing applications, featuring a relay output for control purposes. It is suitable for various automation projects, such as controlling street lights or other equipment based on ambient light conditions.

2. Installatie en verbindingen
The XH-M131 module is designed for straightforward integration. Follow these steps for proper setup:
- Stroomaansluiting: Connect a 5V DC power supply to the module's power input terminals. Ensure correct polarity (VCC and GND).
- Sensoraansluiting: Plug the external photosensitive sensor into the dedicated CDS input port on the module. The sensor cable length is approximately 30 cm.
- Uitgangsverbinding: The module features a single-output relay. The three output terminals are:
- Common Terminal (COM): The middle terminal.
- Normally Open Terminal (NO): The upper terminal.
- Normally Closed Terminal (NC): The lower terminal.
- Montage: Utilize the four M3 screw mounting holes on the module for secure installation in your project enclosure or surface.

3. Gebruiksaanwijzing
The XH-M131 module operates based on ambient light detection and an adjustable threshold.
- Inschakelen: Once the 5V DC power supply is connected, the red power indicator LED will illuminate, indicating the module is active.
- Gevoeligheid aanpassen: The module's sensitivity to ambient light can be adjusted using the onboard potentiometer (labeled 'ADJ' or similar). Rotate the potentiometer to set the detection brightness threshold. It is recommended to perform physical testing to find the optimal setting for your application.
- Relay Operation:
- When the ambient light detected by the sensor is donkerder than the set threshold, the relay will activate (close). In this state, the Common (COM) terminal connects to the Normally Open (NO) terminal, and disconnects from the Normally Closed (NC) terminal. The blue relay indicator LED will illuminate.
- When the ambient light detected by the sensor is helderder than the set threshold, the relay will de-activate (open). In this state, the Common (COM) terminal connects to the Normally Closed (NC) terminal, and disconnects from the Normally Open (NO) terminal. The blue relay indicator LED will turn off.
- Relay Output Function: The COM, NO, and NC terminals function as a double-throw switch. When the relay coil is energized (due to light conditions), COM and NO are connected. When the relay coil is de-energized, COM and NC are connected.

4. Onderhoud
The Eujgoov XH-M131 module is designed for reliable operation with minimal maintenance.
- Schoonmaak: Keep the module and sensor free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid using liquids or abrasive cleaners.
- Omgevingsomstandigheden: Ensure the module is operated within its specified environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) to prevent damage and ensure longevity.
- Sensorplaatsing: Periodically check the light sensor's position to ensure it is not obstructed and is accurately detecting the desired ambient light.
5. Probleemoplossing
If you encounter issues with your XH-M131 module, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Module Not Powering On (Red LED Off):
- Verify the 5V DC power supply is correctly connected and providing power.
- Check for correct polarity of the power connections (VCC and GND).
- Relais wordt niet geactiveerd/gedeactiveerd:
- Ensure the light sensor is properly connected to the module.
- Adjust the sensitivity potentiometer. The threshold might be set too high or too low for the current ambient light conditions.
- Check the light sensor for any obstructions or damage.
- Confirm that the load connected to the relay is within the relay's specified voltage en stroomlimieten.
- Incorrect Relay Switching Behavior:
- Review your connections to the NO and NC terminals. If your device is turning ON when it should be OFF, you might need to switch between NO and NC connections.
