1. Inleiding

Thank you for choosing the Blaupunkt AHA501 Humidifier. This device is designed to improve air quality by adding moisture to the air, helping to alleviate dry skin, irritated sinuses, and other discomforts caused by dry environments. 2. Belangrijke veiligheidsinstructies

Om het risico op brand, elektrische schokken of letsel te verminderen, dient u altijd de volgende basisveiligheidsmaatregelen te volgen:

• Lees alle instructies voordat u het apparaat gebruikt.
• Gebruik de luchtbevochtiger niet als het snoer of de stekker beschadigd is.
• Plaats de luchtbevochtiger op een stevig, vlak en waterbestendig oppervlak, op minimaal 30 cm afstand van muren en apparaten.
• Plaats de luchtbevochtiger niet direct op tapijt of een handdoek.
• Haal altijd de stekker van de luchtbevochtiger uit het stopcontact voordat u deze vult, schoonmaakt of verplaatst.
• Dompel de basiseenheid niet onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.
• Gebruik alleen schoon, koel kraanwater. Gedistilleerd of gedemineraliseerd water wordt aanbevolen om mineraalophoping te voorkomen.
• Buiten bereik van kinderen en huisdieren houden.
• Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank; use the designated aroma diffuser compartment if available.

3. Productcomponenten

Familiarize yourself with the parts of your Blaupunkt AHA501 Humidifier:

4. Instellen

Volg deze stappen voor de eerste installatie:

1. Uitpakken: Verwijder voorzichtig alle verpakkingsmaterialen en plaats de luchtbevochtiger op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond.
2. Watertank vullen: Remove the water tank from the base. Unscrew the cap at the bottom of the tank and fill it with clean, cool tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup. Do not fill past the maximum fill line. Securely replace the cap.

3. Place Tank: Plaats het gevulde waterreservoir voorzichtig terug op het basisstation en zorg ervoor dat het goed vastzit.

5. Gebruiksaanwijzing

Operating your humidifier is straightforward:

1. Aan/uit: Press the power button on the control panel to turn the humidifier on or off. The indicator light will illuminate when on.
2. Vernevelingsniveau aanpassen: Use the mist level button to cycle through different mist output settings (e.g., low, medium, high).
3. Timer instellen: Press the timer button to set an operating duration (e.g., 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours). The humidifier will automatically turn off after the selected time.
4. Aromaverspreiding: To use essential oils, open the aroma diffuser compartment (the small green bottle holder). Add a few drops of essential oil to a cotton pad (not included) and place it inside the compartment. Close the compartment. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.

6. Onderhoud

Regelmatig reinigen is essentieel voor optimale prestaties en hygiëne:

• Dagelijks onderhoud: Empty the water tank and base unit daily. Rinse the tank and base with fresh water.
• Wekelijkse schoonmaak:
  1. Haal de stekker van de luchtbevochtiger uit het stopcontact.
  2. Verwijder het waterreservoir en leeg het resterende water.
  3. Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into the water tank and base unit. Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Gebruik een zachte borstel of doek om de binnenkant van het aquarium en de ultrasone transducer in de basis schoon te maken.
  5. Spoel grondig na met schoon water tot de azijngeur verdwenen is.
  6. Veeg alle oppervlakken droog voordat u alles weer in elkaar zet.
• Opslag: If storing the humidifier for an extended period, ensure it is completely clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.
