This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Deeper PRO+ Smart Sonar. The Deeper PRO+ is a castable and portable Wi-Fi fish finder equipped with GPS, designed for use in various fishing environments including kayaks, boats, shore fishing, and ice fishing. 1. Het apparaat opladen
Before first use, fully charge your Deeper PRO+ using the provided Micro USB B type cable. Connect the cable to the charging port on the device and to a standard USB power source. The device's indicator light will show charging status.
2. Installing the Fish Deeper App
The Deeper PRO+ requires the Fish Deeper app to operate. Download the app from your device's app store (compatible with iOS and Android devices).

3. Connecting to the Deeper PRO+

- Select the Wi-Fi network named "Deeper" followed by a series of characters.
- Once connected, open the Fish Deeper app. The app will automatically detect and connect to your Deeper PRO+ device.

Casting and Scanning
The Deeper PRO+ is designed for easy casting. Attach it to your fishing line using one of the provided attachment bolts. Ensure the bolt is securely fastened.

Once cast into the water, the device automatically activates and begins scanning. The sonar data is transmitted wirelessly to your connected smartphone or tablet.
Understanding Sonar Data
The Fish Deeper app displays real-time sonar data, including depth, bottom structure and consistency, vegetation, and fish. The device uses two beam frequencies for comprehensive scanning:
- Wide Beam (55°): Ideal for quickly scanning large areas and locating fish schools.
- Narrow Beam (15°): Provides higher accuracy and detail for specific areas, useful for identifying individual fish and precise bottom structure.

GPS and Bathymetric Mapping
The built-in GPS allows you to create detailed bathymetric maps of the water body directly from the bank, boat, canoe, or kayak. As you troll or cast, the app records depth contours, building a comprehensive map of the underwater terrain.
- On-Shore Mapping: Cast the device and reel it in slowly to map the area in front of you.
- Boat/Kayak Mapping: Attach the device to your vessel and troll to create detailed maps of larger areas.
All your scans, maps, points of interest, photos, and notes are saved and accessible on the Fish Deeper app and the web platform.

Onderhoud
Schoonmaak
After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the Deeper PRO+ with fresh water to remove any salt, dirt, or debris. Wipe it dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Opslag
Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the device is fully charged before long-term storage to preserve battery health.
Batterijverzorging
The Deeper PRO+ is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium Metal battery. To maximize battery life:
