1. Inleiding

Thank you for choosing the Creative E2400 Home Theater System. This high-performance wired speaker system is designed to deliver 25 watts of raw audio power, featuring a wooden subwoofer for excellent bass reproduction. It offers versatile connectivity options including USB, SD card, FM radio, RCA, and 3.5mm stereo input. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your E2400 system to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

2. Veiligheidsinformatie

• Energiebron: Zorg ervoor dat de voeding voltage voldoet aan de eisen die op het apparaat zijn gespecificeerd.

4.1. Subwoofer Unit

The subwoofer houses the main amplifier, power supply, and all input/output connections. It features a wooden cabinet for enhanced bass. The front panel includes control buttons and an LED display.

The infrared remote control allows convenient operation of all major functions from a distance, including power, volume, input mode, track navigation, and equalizer presets.

5. Installatie-instructies

5.1. Uitpakken en plaatsen

1. Haal alle onderdelen voorzichtig uit de verpakking.
2. Place the subwoofer on a stable, flat surface, preferably on the floor, to optimize bass performance. Ensure the down-firing woofer is unobstructed.
3. Position the two satellite speakers on either side of your listening area, ideally at ear level, for optimal stereo imaging.

5.2. De luidsprekers aansluiten

Connect the cables from the satellite speakers to the corresponding RCA phonoplug outputs on the rear panel of the subwoofer unit. Ensure a secure connection for both left and right channels.

5.3. Audiobronnen aansluiten

The E2400 offers multiple ways to connect your audio devices:

• RCA-ingang: Use an RCA cable (not included, unless specified) to connect your TV, DVD player, or other devices with RCA audio outputs to the RCA input jacks on the subwoofer's rear panel.
• 3.5 mm stereo-ingang: Use the provided RCA to 3.5mm stereo converter cable to connect devices with a 3.5mm headphone jack, such as computers, laptops, smartphones, or MP3 players, to the 3.5mm input on the subwoofer's rear panel.

5.4. De FM-antenne aansluiten

Connect the included FM antenna wire to the FM antenna port on the rear of the subwoofer. Extend the wire fully and position it for the best possible reception.

5.5. Stroomaansluiting

Once all audio connections are made, plug the power cord into a standard AC power outlet.

6. Gebruiksaanwijzing

6.1. In-/uitschakelen

Druk op de Stroom button on the subwoofer's front panel or on the remote control to turn the system on or off.

6.2. Invoermodus selecteren

Druk op de Modus button on the front panel or the remote control repeatedly to cycle through the available input sources: AUX, USB, SD, and FM.

6.3. Volume aanpassen

Gebruik de Volume knob on the subwoofer's front panel or the VOL+ / VOL- knoppen op de afstandsbediening om het geluidsniveau aan te passen.

6.4. Afspelen vanaf USB/SD-kaart

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot on the subwoofer's front panel.
2. Selecteer de USB- of SD-modus met behulp van de Modus button. The system will automatically begin playing compatible audio files.

• Schoonmaak: Wipe the surfaces of the subwoofer and satellite speakers with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Ventilatie: Ensure that the ventilation openings on the subwoofer are kept clear of dust and debris.
