Eerste installatie

Your Timex Expedition Grid Shock Watch comes with a pre-installed Lithium Metal battery. No initial charging or battery installation is required for immediate use.

Setting Time, Date, and Options

To set the time, date, and various options on your watch, follow these steps:

1. With time and date showing, press and hold SET.
2. The current time zone (1, 2, or 3) will flash. Press + or - to select the time zone to set, if desired.
3. Pers VOLGENDE. The hour will flash. Press + or - to change the hour (including AM/PM); hold the button to scan values.
4. Pers VOLGENDE. The minutes will flash. Press + or - om de minuten te wijzigen.
5. Pers VOLGENDE. The seconds will flash. Press + or - to set seconds to zero.
6. Pers VOLGENDE. The month will flash. Press + or - om de maand te wijzigen.
7. Pers VOLGENDE. The day will flash. Press + or - om de dag te veranderen.
8. Pers VOLGENDE. The year will flash. Press + or - om het jaar te veranderen.
9. Pers VOLGENDE to set options. Press + or - to change the value and then press VOLGENDE to go to the next option. Available options include 12- or 24-hour time format, Month-Day or Day-Month date format, tone or vibration alert, hourly chime, beep for button presses, and customizable mode set (select "HIDE" for unwanted modes – they are removed from the mode sequence). Press KLAAR at any step to exit and save settings.

The Timex Expedition Grid Shock Watch is water-resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating makes it suitable for snorkeling, as well as swimming. It is not recommended for diving activities.

Batterij vervangen

The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery. When the battery needs replacement, it is recommended to send the watch to Timex for service. Schoonmaak
