Instellen
1. Uitpakken en plaatsen
Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Place the JVC HR-XVC15 on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
2. Aansluiten op een televisie
The JVC HR-XVC15 offers several options for connecting to your television. Choose the connection type that provides the best quality supported by your TV.

- Component Video (Progressive Scan): For the highest quality video, connect the red (Pr), blue (Pb), and green (Y) component video cables from the unit's "COMPONENT/PROGRESSIVE SCAN VIDEO OUT" to the corresponding inputs on your TV. Connect separate audio cables (red for R, white for L) from the "AUDIO OUT" section to your TV's audio inputs.
- RCA Video/Audio: Connect a yellow RCA video cable from the unit's "DVD/VCR OUT" (Video) to your TV's video input. Connect red (R) and white (L) RCA audio cables from the unit's "DVD/VCR OUT" (Audio) to your TV's audio inputs.
- Coaxiale digitale audio: For digital audio output, connect a coaxial digital audio cable from the unit's "COAXIAL" output to a compatible input on your audio receiver or TV.
- VCR Line In: To connect an external device for recording to VHS, use the "VCR IN LINE 1" (Audio L/R and Video) ports.
3. Stroomaansluiting
After all audio/video connections are made, plug the power cord into a standard AC outlet.
Gebruiksaanwijzing
1. In-/uitschakelen
Druk op de STANDBY-AAN knop op het voorpaneel om het apparaat in of uit te schakelen.
2. Selecting Source (DVD/VCR)
Druk op de VCR SOURCE DVD button on the front panel to switch between DVD and VCR modes. The indicator light will show the currently selected source.
3. DVD-weergave
- Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat in de dvd-modus staat.
- Druk op de OPENEN/SLUITEN knop om de schijflade te openen.
- Plaats een dvd of cd in de lade met de labelzijde naar boven.
- Pers OPENEN/SLUITEN nogmaals om de lade te sluiten.
- Het afspelen zou automatisch moeten beginnen. Zo niet, druk dan op de TONEELSTUK knop.
4. VHS Playback
- Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat in de videorecorderstand staat.
- Plaats een VHS-band in de videorecorder. Het apparaat laadt de band automatisch.
- Het afspelen zou automatisch moeten beginnen. Zo niet, druk dan op de TONEELSTUK knop.
- Gebruik de REW (Terugspoelen), F.FWD (Snel vooruitspoelen), en STOP/UITWERPEN knoppen voor bandbediening.
5. Recording VHS to DVD (One-Touch Recording)
This feature allows for easy transfer of VHS content to a recordable DVD.
- Insert a recordable DVD (DVD-R/W or DVD+R/W) into the DVD tray.
