• Gas Stovetops: Fully compatible. Ensure flame size does not extend beyond the base of the pot to prevent handle damage.
• Electric Stovetops: Fully compatible.

• Vaatwasserbestendig: Your WMF Diadem cookware is dishwasher safe. However, hand washing is recommended for optimal longevity and to maintain the shine of the stainless steel.
• Handen wassen: Wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth. For stubborn food residues, soak the pan in warm soapy water before cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool, which can scratch the surface.
• Drogen: Always dry cookware immediately after washing to prevent water spots and maintain its luster.
• Dekselverzorging: The glass lids can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. If water gets trapped between the glass and the metal handle, it may be necessary to carefully unscrew the handle, clean, and then reassemble.
• Vlekken verwijderen: For white mineral deposits (from hard water) or iridescent discoloration, use a solution of vinegar or lemon juice, then rinse and dry. For burnt-on food, fill the pot with water and a little dish soap, bring to a boil, then let it cool and clean.

Probleemoplossing

Food Sticking to Pan:

Ensure the pan is properly preheated before adding oil and food. Use sufficient oil or fat. For stainless steel, a hot pan and hot oil are key to preventing sticking.

White Spots or Discoloration:

These are typically mineral deposits from water or starch. They can be removed by boiling a solution of water and vinegar (1:1 ratio) in the pot, then washing and drying. Avoid adding salt to cold water in the pot, as this can cause pitting.

Water Trapped in Lid Handle:

If water accumulates within the lid handle assembly after washing, carefully unscrew the handle to separate the components, allow them to dry completely, and then reassemble. This ensures hygiene and prevents residue buildup.
