2. Belangrijkste kenmerken

3. Instellen
3.1. Inhoud van het pakket
- A&D Waterproof Interval Timer AD-5709TL

3.2. Batterij installatie
The timer uses one CR2032 lithium battery. A battery is included for initial monitoring purposes. For long-term use, it is recommended to replace it with a new battery.
- Zoek het batterijvakje aan de achterkant van de timer.
- Use a coin or a flat tool to twist the battery cover counter-clockwise to open.
- Plaats de CR2032-batterij met de positieve (+) kant naar boven.
- Plaats het batterijklepje terug en draai het met de klok mee vast.

3.3. Eerste keer inschakelen
Once the battery is correctly installed, the timer will automatically power on and display '00:00'.
4. Bediening
4.1. Knopfuncties

4.2. Setting a Countdown Timer
- Ensure the timer display is '00:00'. If not, press the Stop knop om te resetten.
- Gebruik de 1分, 10秒, En 10分 buttons to set your desired countdown time. The maximum setting is 99 minutes 50 seconds, and the minimum is 10 seconds.

- When the timer reaches zero, the alarm will sound (buzzer for 5 or 30 seconds) and the red LED will blink for approximately 30 seconds.

4.3. Using Multiple Timers (Sequential Operation)
The AD-5709TL can store and run up to 8 sequential timer settings. This is ideal for interval training or multi-step processes.
- Set the first timer duration using the 1分, 10秒, En 10分 knoppen.
- Druk op de メモリ button to save this setting as Step 1. The display will show '00:00' or the next step number.
- Repeat the process to set and save up to 8 steps. Each time you press メモリ, it saves the current setting and moves to the next step number.
- Once all steps are set, press スタート/ポーズ to begin the sequence. The timer will count down each step consecutively.
- The alarm will sound after each step completes, and the timer will automatically proceed to the next step.

4.4. Herhaalfunctie
After setting your sequential timers (or a single timer), you can set the number of times the sequence should repeat.
- After setting your timer steps (as described in 4.3), press the メモリ button repeatedly until the display shows the repeat count setting (e.g., 'RPT 001').
- Gebruik de 1分, 10秒, En 10分 buttons to adjust the repeat count from 1 to 999.
- To set for permanent (infinite) repeat, continue pressing the buttons until 'RPT INF' or similar is displayed.
- Pers スタート/ポーズ to start the repeating timer sequence.
4.5. Count-up Function
To use the count-up function:
- Ensure the timer display is '00:00'.
- Druk op de スタート/ポーズ button. The timer will immediately start counting up from 00 minutes 00 seconds.
- Pers スタート/ポーズ again to pause the count-up.
- Druk op de Stop button to stop the count-up and reset the display to '00:00'.
5. Onderhoud
5.1. Schoonmaken
Om de timer schoon te maken, veegt u deze af met een zachte, droge doek.amp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water beyond its IPX7 rating. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed before cleaning with moisture.
5.2. Batterij vervangen
When the display becomes dim or the timer functions erratically, it's time to replace the battery. Follow the steps in Section 3.2 for battery installation. Always use a new CR2032 lithium battery.
5.3. Opslag
Store the timer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent leakage.
