4.3 De antenne monteren

2. Securely attach the mounting bracket to your chosen wall or pole. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the antenna, especially in windy conditions.
3. Attach the Slimsat SA61 antenna to the mounting bracket. Do not fully tighten all bolts yet, as adjustments will be needed for alignment.

4.4 Satellite Alignment

This is the most critical step for signal reception.

1. Determine Satellite Position: Use an online satellite finder tool (e.g., 'dish pointer' websites) or a satellite finder app on your smartphone to determine the exact azimuth (horizontal direction), elevation (vertical angle), and LNB skew for your location and desired satellite. The included compass can assist with initial azimuth orientation.

5. Bediening

  • This often indicates a weak or intermittent signal. Re-align the antenna for optimal signal quality.
  • Check for any damage to the coaxial cable, especially if it has been exposed to weather.
• No Power to LNB:
  • Ensure your satellite receiver is providing power to the LNB. Check receiver settings.
