Invoering
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Emerson 1F89-0211 Non-Programmable Thermostat. This thermostat is designed for use with heat pump systems (2 Heat / 1 Cool) and is compatible with Oil/gas/electric and millivolt applications. Its simple design offers reliable temperature control without complex programming.

Installatie
Veiligheidsmaatregelen
- Schakel de stroom uit to the heating/cooling system at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel before installation.
- This thermostat operates on 24 VAC or Millivolt systems. Ensure compatibility with your HVAC system.

Montage locatie
Install the thermostat on an inside wall, approximately 5 feet (1.5 meters) above the floor. Choose a location with good air circulation, away from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources (e.g., lamps, appliances, fireplaces).
Bedradingsinstructies
- Schakel de stroom uit to the heating/cooling system.
- Verwijder de oude thermostaat van de muur.
- Label the wires connected to your old thermostat with the corresponding terminal letters before disconnecting them.
- Bevestig de nieuwe thermostaatbasisplaat aan de muur met behulp van de meegeleverde schroeven.
- Connect the labeled wires to the appropriate terminals on the new thermostat. Refer to the wiring diagram specific to your heat pump system (typically found in your HVAC system's manual or by consulting a professional).
- Plaats de twee AA-batterijen in het batterijcompartiment.

Bediening
The Emerson 1F89-0211 thermostat features a simple interface for controlling your home's temperature.
Systeemschakelaar
The system switch allows you to select the operating mode for your HVAC system.
- STOER: Activeert het koelsysteem.
- OFF: Schakelt zowel de verwarming als de koeling uit.
- WARMTE: Activeert het verwarmingssysteem.
Ventilator schakelaar
The fan switch controls the operation of your system's fan.
- OP: De ventilator draait continu, ongeacht of het verwarmings- of koelsysteem actief is.
- AUTO: De ventilator draait alleen als het verwarmings- of koelsysteem actief is.
Temperatuurregeling
Gebruik de Up (▲) en Omlaag (▼) arrow buttons on the right side of the thermostat to adjust the desired temperature setting. The current temperature and set temperature will be displayed on the 2-inch LCD screen.
Onderhoud
Batterij vervangen
The thermostat is dual-powered (hardwired or battery powered). If using batteries, replace the two AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Trek de thermostaatbehuizing voorzichtig van de muurplaat af.
- Verwijder de oude AA-batterijen.
- Plaats twee nieuwe alkaline AA-batterijen en let daarbij op de juiste polariteit (+/-).
- Klik de thermostaatbehuizing weer vast op de muurplaat.
Schoonmaak
Maak de buitenkant van de thermostaat schoon met een zachte, damp doek. Gebruik geen schurende reinigingsmiddelen of oplosmiddelen.
