1. Inleiding
Thank you for choosing the techno line Projection Alarm Clock WT 590. This device offers a radio-controlled time display, date, weekday, indoor temperature, and a convenient time projection feature. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup and operation.
2. Veiligheidsinformatie
- Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan extreme temperaturen, direct zonlicht of een hoge luchtvochtigheid.
- Gebruik uitsluitend de meegeleverde stroomadapter.
- Buiten het bereik van kinderen houden. Gebruikte batterijen op een verantwoorde manier afvoeren.
- Probeer het apparaat niet zelf te demonteren of te repareren. Neem contact op met gekwalificeerd servicepersoneel.

4. Product voorbijview

Bedieningsknoppen:
- SNOOZEN: Activates snooze function, adjusts display brightness.
- ALARM: Sets and activates/deactivates the alarm.
- LIGHT/UP Arrow: Adjusts display brightness, increases values during setting.
- PROJECTION/DOWN Arrow: Adjusts projection orientation, decreases values during setting.
- MODUS/INSTELLEN: Toggles display modes, enters setting mode.
5. Instellen
5.1 Batterij installatie
- Open het batterijklepje aan de achterkant van het apparaat.
- Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+ and -).
- Sluit het batterijklepje.
Note: Batteries serve as a backup for settings during power outages. The clock requires AC power for full functionality, including continuous display and projection.
5.2 Stroomaansluiting
- Connect the provided AC power adapter to the DC input jack on the back of the alarm clock.
- Sluit de adapter aan op een standaard stopcontact.

5.3 Initial Time Synchronization (DCF77 Radio Control)
Upon connecting power, the clock will automatically begin searching for the DCF77 radio signal to set the time. This process can take several minutes to a few hours, depending on your location and signal strength. Ensure the clock is placed away from electronic interference.
If the signal is successfully received, the time, date, and weekday will be set automatically. A radio signal icon will appear on the display.
5.4 Handmatige tijd- en datuminstelling
If the radio signal is weak or unavailable, you can set the time and date manually.
- Houd de MODUS/SET button for approximately 3 seconds to enter setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
- Gebruik de LIGHT/UP Arrow or PROJECTION/DOWN Arrow knoppen om het uur aan te passen.
- Pers MODUS/SET again to confirm the hour and move to minutes. Repeat the adjustment process.
- Blijf drukken op MODUS/SET to cycle through and set the year, month, day, and time zone offset (±9 hours).
- Pers MODUS/SET nog een laatste keer om de instellingenmodus te verlaten.
6. Gebruiksaanwijzing
6.1 Alarminstelling
- Houd de ALARM button for approximately 3 seconds. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Gebruik de LIGHT/UP Arrow or PROJECTION/DOWN Arrow knoppen om het gewenste alarmuur in te stellen.
- Pers ALARM again to confirm the hour and move to minutes. Adjust the minutes.
- Pers ALARM nog een laatste keer om de alarminstellingsmodus te verlaten.
6.2 Alarm activeren/deactiveren
Druk op de ALARM Druk kort op de knop om het alarm in of uit te schakelen. Er verschijnt een alarmpictogram op het display wanneer het alarm actief is.
6.3 Snooze-functie
Als het alarm afgaat, drukt u op de SNOOZEN button to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes (default snooze duration).
6.4 Projection Adjustment
The projection feature displays the time on a wall or ceiling.
- Projection On/Off: The projection is active when the clock is powered by the AC adapter.
- Projectie Richting: Rotate the projection lens on the side of the unit to adjust the projection angle.
- Projection Orientation: Druk op de PROJECTION/DOWN Arrow button to flip the projected image 180 degrees, allowing for optimal viewongeacht de oriëntatie van de klok.
- Projectie Helderheid: The projection brightness is fixed when powered by AC.
6.5 Weergave helderheid
Druk op de LIGHT/UP Arrow button to cycle through different display brightness levels (e.g., high, low, off).
6.6 Indoor Temperature Display
The current indoor temperature is continuously displayed on the screen, typically in Celsius (°C).
7. Onderhoud
- Reinig het apparaat met een zachte, droge doek. Gebruik geen schuurmiddelen of oplosmiddelen.
- If the display becomes dim or the clock malfunctions when running on battery power, replace the AA batteries.
- Houd de projectielens schoon voor een helder beeld.
8. Probleemoplossing
