ALGEMEEN GEBRUIK
14. Gebruik alleen zoals beschreven in deze handleiding.
15. Steek GEEN voorwerpen in openingen. NIET gebruiken als een opening is geblokkeerd; houd het vrij van stof, pluisjes, haar en alles wat de luchtstroom kan verminderen.
16. Houd uw werkgebied goed verlicht.

21. Make sure Lift-Away® pod is securely latched in place on the caddy before turning the vacuum on.
22. Make sure all components are connected securely prior to operating the vacuum.
23. The hose contains electrical wires. DO NOT step on, run over, or bend the hose. DO NOT
use if damaged, cut or punctured. Avoid picking up sharp objects.
SLANGBEVESTIGINGEN

STOFBEKER / FILTERS / ACCESSOIRES
Voordat u de stofzuiger inschakelt:
28. Zorg ervoor dat alle filters grondig droog zijn na de routinematige reiniging.
29. Zorg ervoor dat de stofbak en alle filters na het routineonderhoud op hun plaats zitten.
30. Zorg ervoor dat accessoires vrij zijn van blokkades.

ALGEMENE SCHOONMAAK
32. Pak GEEN grote voorwerpen op.
33. Zuig GEEN harde of scherpe voorwerpen op zoals glas, spijkers, schroeven of munten die de stofzuiger kunnen beschadigen.
34. Raap GEEN rokende of brandende voorwerpen op, zoals hete kolen, sigarettenpeuken of lucifers.
35. Zuig GEEN ontvlambare of brandbare materialen zoals aanstekervloeistof, benzine of kerosine op en gebruik GEEN vacuüm in gebieden waar ze aanwezig kunnen zijn.
36. Zuig GEEN giftige oplossingen op, zoals chloorbleekmiddel, ammoniak of afvoerreiniger.
37. NIET gebruiken in een afgesloten ruimte waar dampen aanwezig zijn van verf, verfverdunner, mottenwerende middelen, ontvlambaar stof of andere explosieve of giftige materialen.
38. Zuig GEEN vloeistoffen op.
39. Dompel de stofzuiger NIET onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.
40. NIET buitenshuis of op natte oppervlakken gebruiken; alleen gebruiken op droge oppervlakken.
41. Wees extra voorzichtig bij het schoonmaken van trappen.
BEWAAR DEZE INSTRUCTIES
GEPOLARISEERDE STEKKER
Om het risico op een elektrische schok te verkleinen, heeft deze stofzuiger een gepolariseerde stekker (één blad is breder dan het andere). Om veiligheidsredenen past deze stekker maar op één manier in een gepolariseerd stopcontact. Als de
stekker niet volledig in het stopcontact past, draai de stekker om. Als het nog steeds niet past, neem dan contact op met een gekwalificeerde elektricien. Forceer NIET in het stopcontact en probeer het niet aan te passen om te passen.
MONTAGE
1. Connect the hose to the canister.
2. Connect the handle on the other end of the hose to the top of the wand.
3. Connect the wand to the floor nozzle.
4. For your convenience, the crevice tool and dusting brush are stored on-board inside the caddy.
5. Make sure the Lift-Away® pod is latched securely inside the caddy.
6. To extend the power cord, pull it from the rear of the vacuum to the desired length. A yellow mark on the power cord shows the ideal cable length.
LET OP: Do not pull the power cord beyond the red mark on the power cord as this will damage the cord.
7. Make sure that you remove the protective cover from the plug before plugging into the electrical outlet.
VLOERREINIGING
1. Press the main power button Θ on the canister to turn on.
2. Tilt the handle and wand back to unlock the floor nozzle.
3. Use the “0”setting to clean bare floors and area rugs.
4. Use the “I” setting to turn the brushroll on. This setting is for cleaning carpets.
REINIGING BOVEN VLOER
1. To clean with the hose, press the RELEASE button on the top of the wand to separate it from the handle.
2. For extended reach, step on the colored foot pedal on the floor nozzle and pull the tube up to disconnect it from the floor nozzle. Attach desired cleaning accessory.
3. Insert desired cleaning tool directly into the wand or handle.
4. There is a manual suction control on the inside of the handle. You can open or close it to regulate the suction. Close to increase suction and open to decrease suction.

LIFT-AWAY® REINIGING
Use for portable cleaning without the wheels. Clean floors, stairs or anywhere with the Lift-Away® pod.
1. Press LIFT-AWAY® pedal to lift the pod off the caddy.
2. To clean with the floor nozzle, turn the power “ “ on and select the appropriate floor setting.
3. To clean with the hose, press the RELEASE button on the top of the wand to separate it from the handle. For extended reach, separate the wand from the floor nozzle by pressing the RELEASE button on the nozzle.
4. Insert desired cleaning tool directly into the wand or handle.

STORAGE
First, rewind the cord completely by pressing the automatic cord rewind pedal. Always hold the plug when rewinding and do not allow the plug to whip when rewinding.
Second, make sure the Lift-Away® pod is latched securely inside the caddy.
OPTIE 1: Hang the floor nozzle on the back of the canister by inserting the hook on the back of the floor wand into the slot on the back of the canister.
OPTION 2: The floor nozzle locks upright. Simply stand the floor nozzle next to the canister.

MICROVEZEL PAD
1. Schuif twee van de lipjes tussen het zuigmondstuk en de stofferbasis en bevestig ze aan de voorste bevestigingen op de basis. Trek vervolgens de andere twee lipjes strak om de achterste bevestigingen op de basis. Voor het beste resultaat moet u ervoor zorgen dat de pad plat tegen de onderkant ligt en stevig vastzit.
2. Use the Dust-Away™ hard floor tool accessory to clean dry bare floor surfaces. Do not use to clean damp floors or wet / sticky messes. Only use pads provided by Shark®, which are designed to work with the Dust-Away™ hard floor tool attachment.
3. Was de pads apart met warm water in de wasmachine of met de hand met vloeibaar wasmiddel.
Gebruik geen bleekmiddel of wasverzachters, aangezien deze de pads kunnen beschadigen of een coating kunnen achterlaten die de reinigingsprestaties van de pads zal verminderen.
Droogtrommel laag of aan de lijn om de levensduur van de microvezelstof te verlengen.
Voor de beste vloerreinigingsresultaten raden we aan om uw microvezelpads elke 3-4 maanden na normaal gebruik te vervangen.
NUTTIGE TIPS
ZUIGBESTURING
1. This unit is equipped with a suction release latch to help with push and pull on high pile carpets, area rugs and to release suction when dusting delicate objects or drapery. Located on the inside of the handle, pull back to release suction. Be sure to close again for maximum suction.
AANKNOP
2. The power button “ “ turns on suction only. NOTE: The floor brush will only spin once the wand is reclined back on the carpet setting.
SNOER OPSPOELEN
3. This vacuum has an automatic cord rewind feature. Simply press or step on the button to retract the cord. Always hold the plug when rewinding the power cord.
KOPLAMPEN

FILTERS
5. Vergeet niet om uw filters bij normaal gebruik regelmatig schoon te maken. Voor optimale prestaties, tikt u indien nodig tussen wasbeurten door op schone filters.
ONDERHOUD
LEEG DE STOFBAK
1. Pull up on the dust cup release latch and lift the dust cup off the canister.
2. Holding the dust cup over a garbage bag or can, press the bottom EMPTY release latch.
3. Druk op de ontgrendelingshendel van de bovenste stofbak om bij het stofscherm te komen en opgehoopt vuil te verwijderen.
REINIG DE FILTERS
4. With the dust cup removed, take the cover off to access the filters. Remove and rinse the foam and felt filters every 3 months. Let air dry completely before replacing. Tap loose dirt off filters between washes as needed.
5. Once a year, open the filter grill on the back of the canister, remove and rinse the HEPA filter. Let air dry completely before replacing. Hand wash only.
BELANGRIJK: Ensure that the vacuum is turned off and unplugged before maintenance/troubleshooting checks.
CONTROLEER OP VERSTOPPINGEN VERWIJDER EN INSPECTEER:
1. INTAKE OPENINGS, HOSE AND TUBES
a. Remove floor nozzle, wand, hose and dust cup, and shine a flashlight in all intake openings to check for possible blockage.
b. Remove the clog using the end of a broom stick or a wooden spoon. DO NOT use a coat hanger as this could damage the hose.
2. ONDERKANT VLOERMOND
a. Use a coin to unlock the 3 locks on the bottom of the floor nozzle. A portion of the base is removable to allow for better access to the brush roll and exposure to the airway. Shine a flashlight from the bottom to check for possible blockage in the airway.
b. Remove any string, carpet fibers or hair that may be wrapped around the brush roll. There is a groove on the brush bar that allows a pair of scissors to cut across it to loosen up debris.
C. To reattach the portion of the base, line it up along the front of the nozzle and push it into place. Then use a coin to lock the 3 locks.
3. BORSTELROL
If the brushroll indicator light changes from green to red, the nozzle is jammed. Turn the vacuum off and remove any debris from the nozzle. Turn the vacuum back on and tilt the handle and wand back. The light should be green, indicating no jam in the nozzle. If the light is still red, contact customer service at 800.798.7398.
GIDS VOOR PROBLEEMOPLOSSING
WAARSCHUWING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, the unit must be turned off and the power cord unplugged before maintenance/troubleshooting checks.
Vacuüm neemt geen vuil op. Geen zuigkracht of lichte zuigkracht
- Controleer filters om te zien of ze moeten worden schoongemaakt. Volg de instructies voor het spoelen en drogen van de filters voordat u ze weer in de stofzuiger plaatst.
- Stofbakje kan vol zijn; lege stofbeker.
- Controleer slang, slangaansluitingen, mondstukken en accessoires op verstoppingen; verwijder eventuele blokkades.
- Sluit de zuignap op de handgreep om de zuigkracht te vergroten.
Vacuümliften karpetten
- Zuigkracht is krachtig. Wees voorzichtig bij het stofzuigen van karpetten of vloerkleden met fijn genaaide randen. Open de zuigontgrendeling op het handvat om de zuigkracht te verminderen.
- Turn off the unit to disengage the brush roll and restart with the power button “ “ for suction only cleaning.
Borstelrol draait niet rond
- If the brushroll indicator light on the floor nozzle turns red, the brushroll has stopped spinning. Turn the unit off.
- Trek de hendel naar u toe en laat het vloermondstuk los om de automatische uitschakelfunctie uit te schakelen.
- Turn the unit on by pressing the power button “ “.
- I mmediately turn off and unplug vacuum, disconnect the floor nozzle and remove blockage before reconnecting and turning vacuum back on. If the light is green, the blockage has been successfully cleared. If the light is still red, please contact Customer Service at 800.798.7398.
Vacuüm schakelt zichzelf uit
Deze stofzuiger is uitgerust met een motorbeveiligingsthermostaat. Als uw vacuüm om de een of andere reden oververhit raakt, schakelt de thermostaat het apparaat automatisch uit. Mocht dit gebeuren, voer dan de volgende stappen uit om de motorthermostaat opnieuw te starten:
1. Schakel het apparaat uit.
2. Koppel de stofzuiger los.
3. Leeg de stofbak en reinig de filters.
4. Controleer op verstoppingen in slang, accessoires en inlaatopeningen.
5. Laat het apparaat minimaal 45 minuten afkoelen.
6. Sluit het vacuüm aan.
7. Restart the unit by pressing the power button “ Θ“.

EURO-PRO Operating LLC warrants this product to be free from material defects and workmanship for a period of seven (7) years from the date of purchase when utilized for normal household use, subject to the following conditions, exclusions and exceptions.

Als het apparaat door EURO-PRO Operating LLC defect wordt bevonden, zullen wij het naar eigen goeddunken van EURO-PRO Operating LLC gratis repareren of vervangen. Een aankoopbewijs is vereist en er wordt een toeslag van $ 19.95 in rekening gebracht om de kosten van de retourvracht te dekken.*
