Instellen

1. Uitpakken en inspecteren

Haal de motor voorzichtig uit de verpakking. Controleer op eventuele transportschade. Meld eventuele schade onmiddellijk aan uw dealer.

2. De motor monteren

Secure the engine to a stable, level surface using appropriate hardware. Ensure the mounting base dimensions (approximately 6.378in.L x 3.15in.W) and bolt circle (3 5/8in.) are compatible with your equipment.

3. Motorolie toevoegen

The engine is shipped without oil. Fill the crankcase with the recommended type and amount of engine oil. Refer to the specifications section for oil type and capacity. Do not overfill.

4. Brandstof toevoegen

Use fresh, clean, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 fuel. Fill the fuel tank carefully, avoiding spills. Do not fill above the fuel filter screen.

5. Pre-Start Checks

Before each use, check the engine oil level, fuel level, and ensure all fasteners are tight. Inspect the air filter and clean if necessary.

Bedienen van de motor

1. Startprocedure

1. Zorg ervoor dat de motor op een vlakke ondergrond staat.
2. Open de brandstofkraan (indien aanwezig).
3. Move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (cold engine). For a warm engine, set to 'RUN'.
4. Zet de gashendel op de 'SNEL'-stand.

Onderhoud

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and performance of your engine. Always perform maintenance with the engine off and cool, and disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting.

• Olie verversen: Change engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation, then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
• Luchtfilter: Controleer en reinig het luchtfilter elke 25 uur, of vaker bij stoffige omstandigheden. Vervang het filter als het beschadigd is.
• Bougie: Inspect the spark plug every 100 hours. Clean or replace as needed and ensure proper gap.
• Brandstofsysteem: Drain the fuel tank and carburetor if storing the engine for more than 30 days. Use a fuel stabilizer if draining is not possible.
• Algemene schoonmaak: Keep the engine clean from dirt and debris, especially around cooling fins and air intake areas.
