This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your tectake® Clamp Awning. Designed for balconies and terraces, this height-adjustable awning offers effective sun protection and privacy without the need for drilling. Its UV-resistant and water-repellent fabric ensures durability and comfort.

• Ensure no objects or persons are under the awning when it is being extended or retracted.

Instellen

The tectake® Clamp Awning is designed for quick and easy assembly without the need for drilling. It features a practical clamping mechanism and telescopic poles for flexible height adjustment.

1. Componenten uitpakken: Haal alle onderdelen voorzichtig uit de verpakking en leg ze op een schoon, vlak oppervlak. Controleer of alle onderdelen aanwezig zijn volgens de inhoudsopgave.
2. Frame monteren: Connect the robust, powder-coated steel frame components as per the diagrams in the assembly instructions. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Bevestig het luifeldoek: Slide the awning fabric onto the designated aluminum waves. Ensure the fabric is correctly oriented.
4. Install Telescopic Poles: Insert the telescopic poles into the main frame. Adjust the height of the poles to fit your balcony or patio space (adjustable from 211 cm to 304 cm). The non-slip, floor and ceiling protective plastic caps should be at the ends of the poles.
5. Positie en Clamp: Place the assembled awning in the desired location. Extend the telescopic poles until they firmly clamp between the floor and ceiling/balcony overhang. Ensure the awning is stable and level.
6. Mount Hand Crank: The practical hand crank can be mounted on either side of the awning for optimal accessibility. Attach it securely to the designated mechanism.

Bediening

Your tectake® Clamp Awning features a smooth-running crank mechanism for effortless extension and retraction.

• Het uitschuiven van de luifel: Turn the hand crank clockwise to extend the awning fabric to the desired length. The awning can be extended diagonally for sun protection or vertically for privacy.
• Het intrekken van het zonnescherm: Turn the hand crank counter-clockwise to retract the awning fabric. Ensure the fabric retracts smoothly and completely.
• Hoogte aanpassen: The telescopic poles allow for height adjustment between 211 cm and 304 cm. Loosen the locking mechanism on the poles, adjust to the desired height, and then securely tighten the mechanism.
• Hoek aanpassen: The awning's extension arms allow for flexible angle adjustment, from diagonal to completely vertical, to suit your sun protection or privacy needs.

Onderhoud

Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan of your awning and ensure its continued performance.

• De stof reinigen: The polyester fabric is water-repellent and easy to clean. Use a mild soap solution and a soft brush or cloth to clean the fabric. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry completely before retracting. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
