3. Instellen

4.2 QC Function for RJ45 Connectors

The QC function allows for quick quality control checks of RJ45 crimps, identifying errors like uncompressed wires or incorrect wire order.

  1. Insert the crimped RJ45 connector into the RJ45 port on the host unit.
  2. Activate the QC test mode (refer to device specific button if available, otherwise it's part of the standard test).

4.3 POE (Power over Ethernet) Testing

The NF-468CS can test the power supply status of POE switches and powered devices.

  1. Connect the network cable from the POE source (e.g., POE switch) to the RJ45 port on the host unit.
  2. The tester will automatically detect the POE power supply type and status.
