Opstelling en montage

Assembly requires one person.

1. Unpack all components from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
2. If the pole is in sections, connect the upper and lower pole sections firmly. Ensure any locking mechanisms are engaged.
3. Insert the assembled parasol pole into a suitable, heavy parasol base (not included). Ensure the pole is fully seated and stable within the base.
4. Carefully open the parasol canopy using the double pulley system. Gently pull the rope downwards until the canopy is fully extended and the locking pin or mechanism engages.
5. Verify that the parasol is stable and upright before use.

To open the parasol, gently pull the rope of the double pulley system downwards. Continue pulling until the canopy is fully extended and the locking pin or mechanism clicks into place. Secure the rope by wrapping it around the integrated cleat on the pole.

To close the parasol, carefully release the rope from the cleat. Slowly allow the canopy to retract downwards. Once fully closed, gather the fabric neatly and secure it with any integrated ties or straps to prevent it from unfurlind.

Onderhoud

Canopy Cleaning

Clean the polyester fabric canopy with a mild soap solution and a soft brush or cloth. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry completely before closing or storing. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric and its UV protective coating.

Frameverzorging

The wooden frame has an oiled finish and is weather-treated. Periodically inspect the frame for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Reapply wood oil as needed to maintain its protective finish and appearance. Tighten any loose screws or bolts as necessary.

Opslag

When not in use, especially during strong winds or adverse weather, always close the parasol. For prolonged storage, such as during winter months, store the parasol in a dry, protected area to extend its lifespan and prevent weather damage.

Probleemoplossing

• Parasol difficult to open/close: Check the pulley system for any tangles, knots, or obstructions in the rope. Ensure the pole sections are correctly aligned and not binding. Lubricate moving parts if necessary with a silicone-based spray.
• Parasol unstable: Verify that the parasol pole is fully inserted into a heavy and stable base. Ensure the base is placed on a flat, level surface. Do not use the parasol without an appropriate base that can withstand its size and potential wind loads.
