1. Inleiding

This user manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your VTech VM924-2 Digital Video Baby Monitor. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Wat is inbegrepen

Your VTech VM924-2 Digital Video Baby Monitor package contains the following components:

• 1 x Parent Unit (with 5-inch LCD screen)
• 2 baby-units (camera's)
• 3 x voedingsadapters

3. Instellen

3.1 Eerste installatie

1. Laad de ouderunit op: Connect one of the power adapters to the parent unit and a power outlet. Allow the parent unit to charge for at least 12 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery performance.
2. Schakel de baby-units in: Connect the remaining two power adapters to each baby unit and a power outlet. The baby units will automatically power on.
3. Plaatsing: Place the baby units in your desired monitoring locations, ensuring a clear view of the area. For optimal performance, place the baby units at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from the baby's crib or play area.

3.2 Montageopties

The baby units can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall. Mounting hardware is included for wall installation.

• Tafelblad plaatsing: Ensure the baby unit is placed on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
• Muurbevestiging: Use the provided mounting bracket and screws to securely attach the baby unit to a wall. Ensure the camera is positioned to capture the desired viewgebied.

The parent unit features a 5-inch high-resolution LCD display and intuitive controls for monitoring your baby.

You can remotely control the camera's pan, tilt, and zoom functions directly from the parent unit to get a comprehensive view van de crèche.

4.3 Nachtzicht

The baby monitor is equipped with enhanced night vision, providing clear visibility in low-light or dark conditions, ensuring you can monitor your baby throughout the night.

4.4 Two-Way Talk-Back Intercom

Comfort your baby from another room using the built-in two-way talk-back intercom feature. Simply press and hold the Talk button on the parent unit to speak to your baby.

4.5 Soothing Sounds and Temperature Sensor

The baby unit can play soothing sounds and lullabies to help your baby relax and sleep. Additionally, a temperature sensor monitors the nursery's ambient temperature, displayed on the parent unit.

4.6 VOX (Sound Activation Mode)

In VOX mode, the parent unit's screen and sound will automatically activate when the baby unit detects sound above a certain threshold. This conserves battery life while ensuring you are alerted to your baby's needs.

4.7 Long-Range Secure Transmission

The VM924-2 operates on a secure 2.4G FHSS wireless technology, providing a reliable connection up to 1,000 feet without the need for Wi-Fi or a mobile application.

5. Onderhoud

5.1 Reinigen

• Wipe the surfaces of the parent unit and baby units with a soft, damp lap.

• Ensure the units are dry before reconnecting to power.

5.2 Opslag

If you do not plan to use the monitor for an extended period, disconnect the power adapters and store the units in a cool, dry place.
