The AWOL VISION ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) Projector Screen is designed to enhance your ultra-short throw (UST) laser TV experience. This 100-inch fixed frame cinematic screen features advanced optical technology to deliver superior image quality, even in environments with ambient light.

3. Montage-instructies

Please wear the provided gloves throughout the assembly process to prevent fingerprints or damage to the screen material.

3.1 Assemble the Inner Frame

1. Unpack all inner frame pieces (1-A, 1-B, 1-C) and the support rod.
2. Connect the long inner frame pieces (1-A and 1-B) using the internal metal connectors and screws to form the long sides of the frame. Ensure all labels are adhesive to prevent loss.
3. Connect the short inner frame pieces (1-C) to the long sides using corner connectors. Tighten screws, but leave some tightness for final adjustments. Ensure all connections are well-fitted before fully tightening.
4. Install the support rod by aligning its screw holes with the corresponding holes in the middle of the long inner frame sides. Loosely tighten the M4 screws, then adjust the rod for accurate installation before fully tightening.

3.2 Attach the Screen Material

1. Carefully unroll the ALR screen material onto a clean, flat surface with the black side facing up. Be cautious to avoid creases.
2. Place the assembled inner frame onto the center of the unrolled screen material, aligning the markers on the screen with the frame corners.
3. Insert the fiberglass strips into the designated channels along the four borders of the screen material.
4. Starting with the four corners, hook the tension springs to the inner frame. Then, proceed to hook the remaining springs around the entire inner frame, ensuring even tension to prevent wrinkles. Re-check for loose springs or elasticity issues.

3.3 Install the Outer Frame

1. Align the corresponding exterior frame strips (10-A, 10-B, 10-C) to the proper borders of the completed inner frame.
2. Attach the short exterior frame pieces (10-C) to the short sides of the inner frame.
3. Attach the long exterior frame pieces (10-A and 10-B) to the long sides of the inner frame. Leave some tightness while tightening screws for the short sides.
4. Complete the outer frame assembly by securing the four corner protectors.

Careful planning of the mounting location is crucial for optimal viewervaring.

4.1 Bevestig het montagegebied

1. Using your UST projector, project an image onto the wall. Mark the highest reflection point corresponding to the top border of the projected image. This point will be used for installing the Upper Wall Brackets.
2. Mark the lowest reflection point corresponding to the bottom border of the projected image. This point will be used for installing the Lower Wall Brackets.
3. Drill holes and securely install the Upper and Lower Wall Brackets according to the marked points.
4. Test the Upper Brackets by mounting the inner frame (without screen material) to ensure correct positioning and levelness. Calibrate the horizontal level using a gradienter.
5. Test mounting the entire inner frame (without screen material) to ensure proper alignment with all brackets.

4.2 Mount the Screen

1. With assistance, carefully lift the fully assembled screen.
2. Insert the bottom of the screen's inner frame into the Lower Wall Brackets.
3. Pull the screen upwards to ensure the top of the inner frame inserts securely into the Upper Wall Brackets. Hold steady to prevent harm.

Once installed, the AWOL VISION ALR Projector Screen is ready for use. Simply power on your Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector and align the image to the screen. The screen's ambient light rejecting properties will automatically enhance your viewervaring.

Belangrijke opmerking: This screen is designed exclusively for Ultra Short Throw (UST) projectors. Using it with a long throw projector will result in suboptimal image quality and may not provide the intended ALR benefits.

Screen Wrinkles: If wrinkles appear on the screen material after initial installation, release and re-install the tension springs. Ensure the inner frame is perfectly centered on the screen before re-hooking all springs to achieve proper tension and a flat surface.

Suboptimal Image Quality: Verify that your projector is an Ultra Short Throw (UST) model. This screen is specifically designed for UST projectors; using a standard throw projector will not yield the expected performance.

Difficulty with Frame Assembly: Ensure all frame pieces are correctly oriented and that screws are not overtightened prematurely. Refer to the assembly videos for visual guidance.
