1. Veiligheidsinstructies
Lees en begrijp altijd alle veiligheidswaarschuwingen, instructies, illustraties en specificaties die bij dit elektrische gereedschap worden geleverd. Het niet opvolgen van alle onderstaande instructies kan leiden tot een elektrische schok, brand en/of ernstig letsel.
- Veiligheid werkgebied: Houd uw werkplek schoon en goed verlicht. Rommelige of donkere ruimtes verhogen het risico op ongelukken. Gebruik geen elektrisch gereedschap in explosieve omgevingen, zoals in de aanwezigheid van brandbare vloeistoffen, gassen of stof. Elektrisch gereedschap produceert vonken die het stof of de dampen kunnen ontsteken.
- Elektrische veiligheid: Stekkers van elektrisch gereedschap moeten passen bij het stopcontact. Wijzig de stekker nooit op enigerlei wijze. 3. Instellen
3.1 Batterij opladen en plaatsen
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Connect the charger to a power outlet and insert the battery pack. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status.
- Once charged, slide the battery pack into the base of the reciprocating saw until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove the battery, press the release button(s) on the side of the battery pack and slide it out.

3.2 Installatie van het mes
- Ensure the battery is removed from the tool before installing or changing blades.
- Locate the blade holder on the front of the saw. Depending on the model, this may involve twisting a collar or lifting a lever.
- Insert the shank of the saw blade fully into the blade holder. Ensure the blade teeth are facing the correct direction for cutting.
- Release the blade holder mechanism to secure the blade. Gently pull on the blade to confirm it is firmly locked in place.

4. Bediening
4.1 Starten en stoppen
- To start the saw, press the safety lock-off button (if present) and then squeeze the trigger switch. The saw will begin to operate.

- The speed of the blade can often be controlled by the pressure applied to the trigger switch.
4.2 Snijtechnieken

- Hout zagen: Use a wood-specific blade. For thicker wood, consider making pilot holes or plunge cuts if necessary. The saw can cut up to 180 mm in wood.
- Plastic snijden: Use a fine-tooth blade suitable for plastic. Lower speeds may be beneficial to prevent melting the material.
- Metaal snijden: Use a metal-specific blade (e.g., high-speed steel). Apply cutting fluid if recommended for the specific metal. The saw can cut up to 12 mm in steel.

5. Onderhoud
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your tool. Always disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance.
5.1 Reinigen
- Reinig de gereedschapsbehuizing na elk gebruik met een zachte, damp lap. Gebruik geen agressieve chemicaliën of schurende schoonmaakmiddelen.
- Remove any sawdust, chips, or debris from the ventilation openings to prevent overheating. Use compressed air if available.
5.2 Vervanging van het mes
Replace blades when they become dull or damaged. Refer to Section 3.2 for blade installation instructions.
5.3 Batterijonderhoud
- Bewaar batterijen op een koele, droge plaats, uit de buurt van direct zonlicht en extreme temperaturen.
- Bewaar batterijen niet gedurende langere tijd in ontladen toestand. Laad ze regelmatig op als ze niet in gebruik zijn.
- Protect battery contacts from short-circuiting.
