4. Instellen

4.1 Batterij installatie

The AOFAR HX-800I uses one CR2 battery. To install or replace the battery:

1. Zoek het batterijcompartiment op het apparaat.

5. Gebruiksaanwijzing

The AOFAR HX-800I features a simple two-button operation for ease of use.

5.1 In-/uitschakelen en basismetingen

• Om het apparaat in te schakelen, drukt u op de STROOM knop.
• To measure distance in the current mode, aim at your target and press the STROOM button again. The measurement will display on the LCD.
• Het apparaat schakelt na een periode van inactiviteit automatisch uit om de batterij te sparen.

5.2 Schakeleenheden (meters/yards)

To switch between meters (M) and yards (Y):

• Houd het apparaat ingedrukt terwijl het is ingeschakeld. MODUS button for approximately 3 seconds. The unit will toggle between M and Y.

5.3 Schakelen tussen meetmodi

The device offers three primary measurement modes: Range, Continuous Scan, and Speed. To cycle through these modes:

5.3.1 Range Mode

This is the standard mode for measuring the distance to a single stationary target.

• Select Range Mode using the MODUS knop.

• Select Continuous Scan Mode using the MODUS knop.

• Slowly pan the range finder across different targets. The distance readings will update continuously on the display.

5.3.3 Snelheidsmodus

• Select Speed Mode using the MODUS knop.
• Aim at the moving target.
• Klik één keer op de STROOM button. The speed of the target will be displayed in meters per second (m/s).

6. Onderhoud

• Schoonmaak: Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lenses and the body of the device. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
• Opslag: When not in use, store the range finder in its carrying pouch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Batterij: If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage and potential damage.
