1. Inleiding

Thank you for choosing the lightmaXX Vega Bar LED Light Bar. This powerful LED bar features 24 x 4W RGBW LEDs, offering versatile color mixing and multiple DMX channel modes (6, 9, 16, 30, and 58 channels). It also includes automatic and sound-activated modes for flexible operation. This manual provides essential information for safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your device.

2. Veiligheidsinstructies

Lees deze veiligheidsinstructies aandachtig door voordat u het apparaat in gebruik neemt. Bewaar deze handleiding voor toekomstig gebruik.

• Elektrische veiligheid: Zorg ervoor dat de voeding voltage matches the device's requirements. Always connect to a grounded outlet. Disconnect power before cleaning or servicing.
• Installatie: Install the device in a well-ventilated area, away from heat sources and flammable materials. Ensure secure mounting using appropriate hardware.
• Werking: Do not look directly into the light source. Avoid operating in wet or damp conditions. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself; refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

4. Instellen

4.1 Montage

The Vega Bar LED Light Bar comes with adjustable mounting brackets for various installation options, including floor standing or truss mounting. Ensure the mounting surface or truss can support the weight of the fixture.

• Attach the mounting brackets securely to the desired surface using appropriate clamps or screws (not included).
• Always use a safety rope (not included) when suspending the fixture overhead. Attach the safety rope to the designated safety rope attachment point on the fixture.

4.2 Stroomaansluiting

• Connect the provided power cable to the POWER IN port on the fixture.
• Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable grounded power outlet.
• The fixture supports power linking. To connect multiple units, use a power link cable (not included) from the POWER OUT port of one fixture to the POWER IN port of the next.

4.3 DMX-aansluiting (optioneel)

For external control, connect the fixture to a DMX controller.

• Connect a DMX cable (not included) from the DMX OUT of your controller to the DMX IN port of the Vega Bar.
• Voor meerdere armaturen kunt u ze in serie schakelen door de DMX OUT van het eerste armatuur aan te sluiten op de DMX IN van het volgende, enzovoort.
• Terminate the last fixture in the DMX chain with a DMX terminator (not included) for reliable signal transmission.

5. Bediening

5.1 Bedieningspaneel

The control panel on the rear of the fixture allows for mode selection and parameter adjustment.

5.2-bedrijfsmodi

The Vega Bar offers several operating modes:

• DMX-modus: Allows external control via a DMX controller. Select the desired DMX channel mode (6, 9, 16, 30, or 58 channels) from the menu.
• Automatische modus: The fixture runs through pre-programmed light shows. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select different auto programs or adjust speed.
• Music Mode (Sound-Activated): The fixture reacts to sound picked up by the built-in microphone. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust sound sensitivity.
• Statische kleurmodus: Select a fixed color using RGBW mixing.

5.3 DMX-kanaalmodi

The Vega Bar supports multiple DMX channel configurations to suit various control needs. Refer to the DMX chart in the appendix (if available, otherwise state general functionality) for detailed channel assignments for each mode.

• 6-kanaalsmodus: Basic control (e.g., Dimmer, Red, Green, Blue, White, Strobe).
• 9-kanaalsmodus: Adds more control parameters.
• 16-kanaalsmodus: Offers finer control over individual LED segments or effects.
• 30-kanaalsmodus: Provides advanced control, potentially including pixel mapping.
• 58-kanaalsmodus: Full control over all 24 RGBW LEDs individually for complex effects.

6. Onderhoud

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your light bar.

• Schoonmaak: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior. For lenses, use a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Inspectie: Periodically check power and DMX cables for damage. Ensure all mounting hardware is secure.
• Opslag: Bewaar het armatuur, wanneer het niet in gebruik is, in een droge, stofvrije omgeving.
