This manual provides instructions for the HCDZ Replacement Remote Control, designed for use with various JVC Micro Compact Component Speaker Systems. This remote is an infrared (IR) replacement and requires no programming. Simply insert batteries to begin operation.
Instellen
Batterij installatie
- Zoek het batterijcompartiment aan de achterkant van de afstandsbediening.
- Schuif het batterijklepje naar beneden of in de richting van de pijl om het te openen.
- Insert two (2) AA alkaline batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.

Opmerking: This remote control requires 2 AA batteries, which are not included. No programming is needed; the remote will function immediately after battery installation.

Basisbediening
- Zorg ervoor dat er nieuwe batterijen in de afstandsbediening zijn geplaatst.
- Point the remote control directly at the infrared sensor of your JVC Micro Compact Component Speaker System.
- Press the desired function button (e.g., Power, Volume Up/Down, Play, Stop, Source) to control your device.
The maximum effective range for this remote control is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).

Onderhoud
- Opslag: If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent potential damage from leakage and corrosion.
- Omgeving: Do not expose the remote control to extremely hot or humid conditions. Avoid direct sunlight or strong lighting apparatuses on the remote sensor, as this may cause malfunction.

Probleemoplossing

- Afstandsbediening reageert niet:
- Zorg ervoor dat de batterijen correct en met de juiste polariteit (+/-) zijn geplaatst.
- Replace old batteries with new AA alkaline batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the device's IR sensor.
- Controleer of de afstandsbediening rechtstreeks op het apparaat is gericht.
- Intermittent operation or malfunction:
- Avoid exposing the remote sensor to direct sunlight or strong artificial light sources, as this can interfere with its operation.
