2. Product voorbijview
The Deerma DEM-SJS600 is an ultrasonic humidifier designed to improve air quality and comfort in your home or office. It features a large 5-liter capacity, UV sterilization, an integrated aromatherapy box, and a gentle night light.

3. Instellen
3.1 Uitpakken
- Haal de luchtbevochtiger voorzichtig uit de verpakking.
- Remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present: main unit, water tank, mist tube, and user manual.
3.2 Plaatsing
- Plaats de luchtbevochtiger op een vlakke, stabiele en waterdichte ondergrond.
- Ensure it is at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls, furniture, and electronic devices.
- Avoid placing it on carpets or absorbent surfaces.
3.3 Het waterreservoir vullen
The DEM-SJS600 offers three convenient ways to add water:
- Bovenvulling: Directly pour water into the top opening of the humidifier.
- Tank verwijderen: Lift the water tank from the base, invert it, and fill it from the bottom cap.
- Partial Lift: Partially lift the top cover and pour water into the exposed tank opening.
Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not exceed the maximum water level indicator.
4. Gebruiksaanwijzing
4.1 Aan/uit en nevelregeling
- Sluit het netsnoer aan op een geschikt stopcontact.
- Turn the rotary knob on the front panel clockwise to power on the unit and adjust the mist output level. Turn counter-clockwise to reduce mist and power off.
4.2 Nachtlampfunctie
- Press the touch button (light icon) on the front panel to turn the night light on or off.
- The night light also serves as a water level indicator: orange for sufficient water, red for water shortage.

4.3 Aromatherapiefunctie
- Locate the aromatherapy box on the side of the humidifier base.
- Pull out the tray and add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad.
- Slide the tray back into place. The mist will diffuse the scent into the air.

5. Onderhoud
Regelmatig reinigen is essentieel voor optimale prestaties en hygiëne.
5.1 Dagelijks onderhoud
- Haal de stekker van de luchtbevochtiger uit het stopcontact.
- Leeg het resterende water uit de tank en de basis.
- Veeg de tank en de basis droog met een schone doek.
5.2 Wekelijkse schoonmaak
- Haal de stekker van de luchtbevochtiger uit het stopcontact.
- Remove the water tank and mist tube.
- Clean the water tank and base with a soft brush and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- The mist tube is detachable for easy cleaning. Gently twist and pull to remove it, then wash with water and a soft cloth.
- To remove mineral buildup (white dust), fill the base with 1 cup of white vinegar and let it sit for 20 minutes. Gently scrub with a brush, then rinse thoroughly.

5.3 UV-sterilisatie
The humidifier features an integrated UV-C light system that automatically sterilizes the water, eliminating 99.99% of bacteria and viruses to ensure clean and healthy mist output. This system operates automatically during humidification.
