To ensure optimal performance, your environment must meet the following specifications:

• WiFi-router: 2.4 GHz 802.11 b, g, or n compatible.
• Smartphone of tablet: iOS 8+ or Android 4.4+ operating system.
• Internetverbinding: Minimum 1.0 Mbps download bandwidth per camera.

Instellen

1. Cameraplaatsing

Kies een locatie die de gewenste viewing angle and is within range of your Wi-Fi network. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall.

2. Wandmontage (optioneel)

If mounting to a wall, use the provided wall mount bracket and hooks. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and can support the camera's weight.

3. Stroomaansluiting

Connect the camera adapter to the camera and then plug it into a power outlet. The camera will power on automatically.

4. Netwerkverbinding

The camera supports Wi-Fi connectivity. Follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guide to connect your camera to your home Wi-Fi network using the VTech mobile application.

Note: An RJ45 Ethernet cable is included for initial setup or wired connection if preferred.

The VTech VC990 IP Camera is primarily controlled via a dedicated mobile application on your smartphone or tablet. Download the official VTech camera application from your device's app store.

De camera schoonmaken

To clean the camera lens and body, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays, as these can damage the device. Ensure the camera is unplugged before cleaning.

Software-updates

Periodically check the VTech mobile application for available firmware updates for your camera. Keeping the firmware updated ensures optimal performance and security.

Probleemoplossing

Geen stroom

Bewegingsdetectie werkt niet

• Verify that motion detection is enabled in the camera's settings within the mobile application.
• Adjust the motion sensitivity settings if necessary.
• Ensure the camera is not in sleep mode.
