1. Belangrijke veiligheidsinstructies

Please read this manual carefully before operating the dehumidifier and retain it for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Sluit het apparaat altijd aan op een geaard stopcontact.
• Gebruik de luchtontvochtiger niet met een beschadigd netsnoer of een beschadigde stekker.
• Dompel het apparaat, het snoer of de stekker niet onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.
• Houd het apparaat uit de buurt van warmtebronnen en direct zonlicht.
• Zorg voor voldoende ventilatie rondom het apparaat; blokkeer de luchtinlaten en -uitlaten niet.
• Haal de stekker van de luchtontvochtiger uit het stopcontact voordat u deze reinigt of onderhoudt.
• Dit apparaat is alleen voor huishoudelijk gebruik binnenshuis.

2. Product voorbijview

The Quigg® LE 2017.17 Dehumidifier is designed to reduce humidity levels in your home, preventing mold, mildew, and musty odors. It features a 5.5-liter water tank and options for continuous drainage.

3. Instellen

3.1 Uitpakken

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

3.2 Plaatsing

Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface in the area where humidity control is desired. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow.

3.3 Stroomaansluiting

Sluit het netsnoer aan op een geschikt geaard stopcontact. Zorg ervoor dat het volumetage komt overeen met de specificaties van het apparaat.

3.4 Opties voor waterafvoer

De luchtontvochtiger biedt twee afvoermogelijkheden:

1. Waterreservoir: The dehumidifier will collect water in its internal 5.5L tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. You must then manually empty the tank.
2. Continue drainage: For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, connect a suitable drainage hose (not always included, check packaging) to the continuous drainage outlet at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a floor drain or larger container.

4. Gebruiksaanwijzing

4.1 Bedieningspaneel

The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features various buttons and a digital display.

• Aan/uit-knop: Schakelt het apparaat AAN/UIT.
• Modusknop: Selects operating modes (e.g., continuous, automatic).
• Knoppen voor het instellen van de vochtigheid (+/-): Hiermee kunt u de gewenste luchtvochtigheid instellen.
• Timerknop: Hiermee stelt u de timer voor automatisch in- of uitschakelen in.
• Ventilatorsnelheidsknop: Adjusts fan speed (e.g., high, low).
• Weergave: Geeft de huidige luchtvochtigheid, ingestelde luchtvochtigheid of timerinstellingen weer.

4.2 Eerste ingebruikname

1. Sluit de luchtontvochtiger aan.
2. Press the Power button to turn the unit on. The display will show the current room humidity.
3. Use the Humidity Setting buttons (+/-) to set your desired humidity level. A common comfortable range is between 40% and 60%.
4. The unit will start operating and the compressor will engage if the room humidity is higher than the set level.

4.3-bedrijfsmodi

• Automatische modus: The unit will automatically adjust its operation based on the set humidity level. It will cycle on and off to maintain the desired humidity.
• Continue ontvochtiging: In this mode, the unit will run continuously regardless of the humidity level until the water tank is full or it is manually turned off. This mode is ideal for very damp environments or for drying laundry.

4.4 Timerfunctie

Met de timerfunctie kunt u een specifieke tijd instellen waarop het apparaat automatisch in- of uitgeschakeld wordt.

• Automatisch uitschakelen: While the unit is running, press the Timer button to set the number of hours (e.g., 1-24 hours) after which the unit will turn off.
• Auto-aan: While the unit is off, press the Timer button to set the number of hours after which the unit will turn on.

5. Onderhoud

Regelmatig onderhoud zorgt voor optimale prestaties en verlengt de levensduur van uw luchtontvochtiger.

5.1 Het waterreservoir legen

When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and an indicator light will illuminate. Carefully remove the water tank from the back of the unit, empty the collected water, and then reinsert the tank firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the tank is properly seated to resume operation.

5.2 Het luchtfilter reinigen

Het luchtfilter moet elke twee weken of vaker worden schoongemaakt, afhankelijk van het gebruik en de luchtkwaliteit.

1. Schakel de luchtontvochtiger uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
2. Locate the air filter grille at the back of the unit.
3. Verwijder het filter.
4. Reinig het filter met een stofzuiger of was het met warm zeepsop. Spoel het grondig af en laat het volledig aan de lucht drogen voordat u het terugplaatst.
5. Reinsert the dry filter and close the grille.

5.3 De buitenkant van het apparaat reinigen

Veeg de buitenkant van de luchtontvochtiger schoon met een zachte, damp Gebruik geen doek. Vermijd agressieve chemicaliën, schurende reinigingsmiddelen of oplosmiddelen, aangezien deze het oppervlak kunnen beschadigen.

5.4 Opslag

Als de luchtontvochtiger gedurende langere tijd niet wordt gebruikt:

1. Leeg de watertank en zorg ervoor dat deze volledig droog is.
2. Maak het luchtfilter schoon.
3. Haal de stekker van het apparaat uit het stopcontact en rol het netsnoer netjes op.
4. Bewaar de luchtontvochtiger op een koele, droge plaats, bij voorkeur in de originele verpakking.
