VTech CS6529-4 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone System

1. Inleiding

This manual provides instructions for the VTech CS6529-4 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone System. This system includes a base unit with a digital answering machine and four cordless handsets, offering advanced features such as Caller ID/Call Waiting, a full-duplex speakerphone, and Quiet Mode. 4. Instellen

4.1. Batterij installatie

1. Open het batterijklepje aan de achterkant van elke draadloze handset.
2. Connect the provided rechargeable battery pack to the connector inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
3. Plaats het batterijpakket in het compartiment en sluit het deksel.

4.2. Basiseenheidverbinding

4.3. Handset Charging

Place each cordless handset into its respective charging cradle. The CHARGE light on the handset will illuminate, indicating proper charging. Allow at least 16 hours for the batteries to fully charge before initial use.

4.4. Datum en tijd instellen

After the handsets are charged, the display will prompt you to set the date and time. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure these settings for accurate Caller ID records and answering system timestamps.

5. Bediening

5.1. Bellen en gebeld worden

• Om te bellen: Pers PRATEN/FLITSEN or SPREKER, en draai vervolgens het telefoonnummer.
• Een oproep beantwoorden: Pers PRATEN/FLITSEN or SPREKER als de telefoon gaat.

5.2. Luidspreker

The handset features a full-duplex speakerphone for hands-free conversations. Press the SPREKER Druk tijdens een gesprek op de knop om de luidspreker in of uit te schakelen.

5.3. Caller ID and Call Waiting

The system displays the name, number, time, and date of incoming calls. If you subscribe to Call Waiting service, the phone will alert you to a second incoming call. Press FLASH om tussen gesprekken te schakelen.

5.4. Digitaal antwoordsysteem

The base unit features a digital answering system with up to 14 minutes of recording time. You can listen to messages from the base unit or any cordless handset.

• In-/uitschakelen: Pers ANS AAN/UIT op de basiseenheid.

• Op afstand toegang: You can access your messages remotely by calling your home number and entering a remote access code.

5.5. Intercom

Gebruik de intercomfunctie om te communiceren tussen handsets. Druk op INTEGRAAL on a handset, then dial the number of the desired handset.

5.6. Stille modus

Silence the ringer on the handset and base unit for a specified period. This is useful for uninterrupted sleep or meetings. Access Quiet Mode settings through the handset menu.

5.7. Telefoonboek

Store up to 50 names and numbers in the phonebook for quick dialing. Access the phonebook via the handset menu.

5.8. Oproepblokkering

The system may offer features to block unwanted calls. Consult the handset menu for specific call blocking options and setup.

5.9. Wall Mount Option

The base unit can be mounted on a wall to save counter space. Use the included wall mount bracket and follow the instructions for secure installation.

6.1. Batterijverzorging

The handsets use rechargeable batteries. For optimal performance:

• Always return handsets to their charging cradles when not in use.
• Replace batteries when they no longer hold a charge effectively. Use only VTech approved replacement batteries.
