Instellen en installeren

  1. Kies locatie: Place the pump in the deepest part of your pond or water feature, ensuring it is fully submerged. The pump is designed for continuous submerged operation.
  2. Bevestig slangen: Connect appropriate 1-inch ID (Inner Diameter) tubing to the pump's outlet using the provided adapter. Secure the tubing with a hose clamp (niet inbegrepen) om lekkages te voorkomen.
  3. Positionering: Use the molded handle to carefully lower the pump into the water. Ensure the pump is stable and not resting on loose debris.
  4. Elektrische aansluiting: Route the 15-foot power cord to a grounded, GFCI-protected electrical outlet. Ensure the cord is not kinked or pinched. Do not plug in the pump until it is fully submerged.
  5. Dompelpomp: Ensure the water level is sufficient to completely cover the pump. The pump features a low water shut-off sensor that will prevent operation if the water level is too low.
  6. Inschakelen: Once the pump is fully submerged and all connections are secure, plug the pump into the GFCI-protected outlet.

Bediening

The Beckett 1250 GPH Submersible Water Pump is designed for continuous operation once properly installed and submerged.

  • Initiële opstart: After plugging in, the pump should begin circulating water immediately. If it does not, ensure it is fully submerged and the power supply is active.
  • Afsluiting bij laag waterpeil: This pump is equipped with a low water shut-off sensor. If the water level drops below the safe operating threshold, the pump will automatically turn off to prevent damage. It will restart automatically once the proper water level is restored.
  • Continue werking: For optimal performance and longevity, ensure the pump remains fully submerged and free from debris.

Onderhoud

  2. Clean Inlet Screen: Periodically inspect and clean the pump's inlet screen to remove any accumulated debris such as leaves, algae, or sediment. A clogged screen can reduce flow and strain the motor.
  3. Inspecteer de waaier: If flow is reduced after cleaning the screen, the impeller may be obstructed. Carefully remove the pump casing and clean the impeller and its housing.
  4. Winterklaar maken: In freezing climates, remove the pump from the water feature before the first freeze. Clean the pump thoroughly and store it in a frost-free location, submerged in a bucket of water if possible, to keep seals moist.
